Chalet La Namaste

The newly renovated Chalet Le Namaste is one of the leading private homes in Courchevel 1850 and was the former summer holiday home of Baroness Margaret Thatcher. Located in the exclusive, gated Hameau de Cachemire, it boasts one of the most desired addresses in this fashionable resort with easy direct ski-in/ski-out access to the green Bellecote Piste, bringing you directly to the heart of the resort and main lift departures.
It is surrounded by its private grounds, bringing absolute peace to your holiday, with access from an underground garage and from the piste. This classic alpine chalet underwent a recent €2.5 million renovation bringing you five floors of complete luxury.
The main drawing room spans the whole floor, with a state-of-the-art kitchen, fireplace and wonderful music, and sitting above is the mezzanine, a relaxing area which can also be used as an office with a desk. Across the chalet, modern art from 1890 -1950 from artists across Europe is featured.


Chalet Le Namaste accommodates ten adults in a sumptuous double master suite, three double bedrooms, a large children’s room that sleeps up to four children in gorgeous cabin bunk beds, and a smaller 10m² double room – perfect for nannies, staff or children, all with en-suites or Jacuzzis. Adjacent to the bunk bedroom is the children’s own drawing room, perfect for children to relax and play.
Chalet Le Namaste is the epitome of alpine chic and offers over 400m² of living space, with Mini-Namaste (an apartment for two next door) also available.

The spa features an indoor swimming pool with a mood lighting system. Alongside a Hammam and a Sauna is the spacious massage treatment room for post-ski recovery, and a Pilates/yoga/stretching/workout area is incorporated on the mezzanine level above the pool.
Nearly every window enjoys a beautiful panoramic vista. There are three terraces, allowing you to enjoy the morning sun, have lunch and unwind after skiing with a glass of champagne and a warm blanket to watch the skiers go by. After a long day exploring Courchevel, relax by the dual-aspect fireplace with your favourite drink, or enjoy the glass-enclosed, state-of-the-art design kitchen.
The chalet boasts a modern and chic new interior while maintaining an awe-inspiring authentic feel. It has the latest modern conveniences, WiFi and a comprehensive television, music and entertainment system connected throughout the chalet.

Le Namaste is the perfect chalet for families, featuring a unique children's area with lounge/playroom and cabin bunk beds where children will find their very own take-home Charlie Bear. Their bathroom is stocked with skin-sensitive children's products and we provide some cosy slipper socks to keep little feet warm and toasty. Children will also love our Charlie Bear Challenge, which involves a choice of pizza making, creating a snow dance or building a snowman.

Healthy children's dinners are made fun with your own private chef on hand to cater to your children's likes, dislikes and dietary needs. All meals are created from scratch using ingredients that are locally sourced where possible. Baby purées are always homemade using fresh fruit and vegetables.

The hassle free advantage of Ski-in/Ski-out access onto the green Bellecote piste minimises stress and will guarantee a comfortable run home straight back to the front door of the chalet where you will be greeted by our staff to help pack boots and ski's away, allowing you to take a bath and unwind before the evening begins with champagne and canapès.
